How to set up Outlook Express



Using Outlook Express if you want to send and receive any e-mail, you need to set up an account. You can have more than one account for business, online shopping, and so on and each person who uses your computer may have their own, completely separate account i outlook express.

By default you will get an outlook express after setting up windows. I will explain here how you will configure your outlook express step by step.

Start up Outlook Express. This can be found in your computer’s Start menu.

Click on Start=> Program=> Outlook Express.

Following page will pop up. Just click on next.

If you are first time installing out look express following page may display on screen, just click on No.

Click on Unread mail massage.

A pop-up window will appear, with four tabs – All, Mail, News and Directory Service. Click the Add button.

Click the Mail option.

The display name is the name that will appear in the From field every time you send an email. Type in your name, then click the Next button.

Type the email address you are configuring ([email protected]) then click the Next button.

Your incoming mail server type is POP3. Incoming mail server is Your outgoing mail server is smtp also after that click on next.

Your Account Name (ismtechbd) is your mailbox username, some time email address is mailbox username ([email protected]) depend on your server.
